Early Grey is a floral design studio based in Prince Edward County, Ontario,
owned and operated by Marilou Perron.
Since childhood, Marilou was always drawn to the arts. She received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Ottawa, and moved to Toronto shortly after.
After a few years of admiring and studying the work of international florists while working an office job, she decided to finally take the leap and pursue
floral design full time.
She started off in an apprenticeship with a talented and experienced floral designer, and then worked in a full service flower shop where she kept on learning from some of Toronto's best florists. She was then offered the opportunity to
move to beautiful Prince Edward County to manage the retail and wedding operations of a flower shop.
With years of experience behind her, Marilou decided to launch
Early Grey - atelier de fleurs.

At Early Grey, our nature-inspired floral arrangements are created with careful intention and thoughtfulness.
We draw inspiration from art, the changing of the seasons, and the nature that surrounds us. Marilou approaches floral design like she would a painting - finding the perfect combination of colours and shapes to evoke a deep emotion - a feeling that hopefully makes you love flowers as much as she does.
We prioritize sustainability and working with locally grown flowers, but also love finding interesting and exciting blooms that can only be grown abroad.
Marilou's other loves include her dear husband, her adorable cat and dog, freshly baked croissants, and exploring new cities and landscapes.
P.S. elle parle aussi français :)
